TRANSFORMATIONAL LIFE & BUSINESS COACH FOR BLACK WOMEN

Meet Rosetta Thurman

Rosetta Thurman is a life and business coach for Black women with big dreams.

She is the Founder of Happy Black Woman®, a coaching and training company that helps Black women transform their lives through personal development and entrepreneurship.

Rosetta’s mission is to empower ambitious Black women to stop settling and start creating the lives and businesses they really want!

In 2008, she launched her first business as a consultant, speaker and coach for nonprofits. It started out as a “side hustle,” but less than 2 years later, she was able to replace her salary and quit her nonprofit job to work for herself full-time.

The following year, she got rid of all her stuff, ended her apartment lease and became a “digital nomad,” traveling the world with just a suitcase and a laptop, living and working from her dream destinations of Hawaii, Greece, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Bali and more!

Fast forward to today and Rosetta has inspired thousands of Black women around the world to create lives of happiness, success and freedom through her practical courses, transformational coaching programs, and life-changing events.

Rosetta is the host of The Happy Black Woman® Podcast (with over 1 million downloads) and the author of Launch Your Business: The 5-Step Solution to Do What You Love, Quit Your Job and Have the Freedom to Travel and Live Life on Your Own Terms.

Her insight has been featured in Essence, Black Enterprise, SUCCESS Magazine, Entrepreneur, Therapy for Black Girls, Blavity, Shondaland and other media outlets.

Rosetta holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and has taught leadership, business, and marketing as an Adjunct Professor.

When she’s not coaching or speaking on stage, you can find Rosetta traveling to the next place on her “bucket list,” cooking a new recipe, dancing to 80s music or watching yet another true crime show.

She lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband, Jacarl.

Rosetta’s motto is a testament to her unwavering belief in the power of Black women: “You can do anything you want with your life and no one can stop you…but you!”
